training training and more training really!! how about trying to find a good training cl you could go to? does he like toys? some dogs will work better for a toy rather than food and you can even keep a special one for just when you are out. you have to try and make yourself more interesting to him than anything else going on around him. using a harness is fine but doesnt automatically stop a dog pulling and you can sometimes end up with a dog with a very powerful front end! has he been castrated? this may be worth considering if not, although it is not a quick fix, you still need good basic training.

How to install a Sirius radio in 2003 Mini?

I have recently purchased a Sirius satellite radio. I had no problems hooking it up in my Honda. I recently however got a 2003 Mini Cooper and now I cannot get the radio to work. I can set up the antenna and everything, but when I plug into the cigarette lighter, I don't get power to the radio. I even recently had to change the battery - the car still had original battery - and tried again hoping there would be more power from the battery and still have no power. my son is dating the girl and he is a little older. her mom says she knows her daughter and that the girl will tell her everything that she always has. well i confronted the kids and asked the girl when she planned to talk to her mom about birth control and she said NEVER.. her mom has tendencies to punish by removing cell phone and pc privileges pretty much cutting her off from the rest of the world. how do i help the girl and not undermine her mom? she needs to have the talk with a professional unfortunately in our state she has to be 18 to be seen in a clinic or by a doctor. any advice would be appreciated.

Why is my boss so condescending?

He is condescending, pessimistic, overbearing ***. I have been at this job. for a little over a week and I have had it. For starters there is a lot of info to know and they do not train you, its all learn as you go...we have to deal with the customers at the desk, the customers on the phone, the computer system and the millions of paperwork. When someone does try and teach you about something its to much for you to learn and remember everything they just tried to cram In your head. with this of a boss it is even worse he looks for every mistake you make and gives you a 15 minute lecture on what you did wrong he talks down to you and treats you like an ignorant child. I dread going to work when I know I have to work with him cause its so stressful like walking through a minefield. To give him credit he knows the job inside and out and he treats everyone at work the same way. They can accept that treatment but I cant. How do I deal with this type of boss until I can find another job? I feel like nothing I do is right and I am wary to even try because I know Im just going to be reprimanded for it later. What do I do?

I would almost certainly say the Champions League....maybe you can't find statistics for out side the US because nobody outside of it watches it. OK that's obviously not true i'm sure there are small communities who do tune in, but American Football is hardly the phenomenon it is outside the US. Football (Soccer) on the other hand is played all over the globe and has many different teams, from many different nations competing in the Champions League. The sheer diversity of the nations involved would surely lead to more people watching, not to mention non EU nations who just want a chance to watch some of the most famous footballers in the world play. Asia especially has a strong interest in Football and they comprise a huge amount of viewers, I don't believe they have any interest in American Football though, just baseball.

Who agrees that the Playstation 3 is "NOW" the system to have?

I have been a Playstation 3 fan from the very beginning and I saw the potential in the system from the very beginning as well. I think the original problem with the system was the Multi Platform games that were being released and the fact that the PS3 exclusives just, in lack of better terms, SUCKED. I am now seeing that the tables are starting to turn beginning with Little Big Planet, Then to Killzone 2, And now Uncharted 2. Future releases like God Of War 3 will totally seal the deal. Game developers are starting to see the true power of the PS3 and are actually discussing switching their focus to PS3 exclusives, not saying they aren't going to continue creating multi-platform games, just about 70% of their focus will be on the ps3. Who agrees that the PS3 is the system to have right now? I am going to purchase either a Mauser 98, or a Czech Vz 24. Both are in good condition, and are chambered for 7.92x57mm. They are the same price. My son is 5 weeks - should he have a "scheduled" feeding?

I have 4 children ages 5 1/2, 4, 2, and 4 months. All were exclusivley fed until 10 months of age (except for the youngest so far of course). I NEVER pumped I tried it and hated it-took too long, I could not relax. Your son is too young to be on a schedule. Tiny babies have frequent growth spurts-they eat and eat nonstop it seems then sleep longer for the next few days-it happens usually at 3 days, 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months... THey just drink so much more then, maybe every 1 1/2 hours all day and night (when they are very young). My youngest son is 4 months old and eats sometimes every hour then he can go 4 hours, it is up to him. I never had any luck with pacifiers at all. feeding is very hard-you feel that it is all you ever do at all it seems, but it is well worth it. If you are calm about it your baby will be content and grow up healthy!! Good luck!! I totally sympathize!

Who cares? As long as my body is covered properly, don't worry about it! I mean I do dress decent, but I don't care what others wear to church. That is one of the least important things. Just like communions. I have heard people condemn catholics for drinking wine. Guess what??? They did drink wine in the Bible! It wasn't g juice! It was the real deal. The word "drunk" is found all over the word of God. Mainly saying it is sin, and it is! But if I drink wine for communion, that is sacred. And I believe in using wine because that is what Jesus said to use. He did not say to remember the g juice as his blood he said remember the wine as his blood. BTW, Im not Catholic. But I think that many religions say things that are simply not so.

I opened my eyes and my mind raced to conceive. A brilliant blue sky accented slightly with snowy white clouds. I could sense I was on my back and yet felt weightless. I closed my eyes and dwelt on the sensation. In a moment, I opened my eyes again. Through the serenity and peacefulness of the sky I began to feel heat and a turbulent anger below me. My thoughts curious of everything moved to thy self. I was dressed in an ominous white robe. The sensuality of the fabric excited my body as it moved from the rising heat below and the gentle breeze above. The robe was drawn tightly closed around my waist by a leather braided belt. It was tied in a knot and the ends teled. I became aware of my extremities. I sensed I was holding something. I looked to my right hand and I held a sword. Brilliant, light sparked from its jeweled golden hilt and mirrored steel blade. I brought the sword before me to gaze upon it. I seemed to be in aw forever. Soon the sky drew my attention. It began to turn grey and the clouds dark and angry. My body began moving and soon I felt erect. I looked down to see where the heat was coming from. The ground, a furlong below me, was black and chard. Molten lava and fire coursed through all of it as far as I could see. It too began to get angrier. Lightning raged from the heavens and thunder shook the beat of my soul. Fire erupted from below, leaping into the depths of the heavens. In no time there was no peace to be had. The fury of heaven and hell. A glow began to appear in the dark angry clouds. As the thunder and lightning continued the light grew stronger. Peacefulness calmed and parted the violence surrounding it. An angel came forth, its form strong and serene. Its white broad wings graced the calm as it approached me. Unhed by the torment surrounding us, he came before me. The angel held out its hands. I graced him with my sword. In an instant a quake, a shock, rattling heaven and hell and soul. Earth parting bellow us. From the depths of flame and fire rose a creature. hed and hideous, its eyes black and red set in pits. Fangs sneered as it fought and clawed its way out of the depths and closer to us. Its wings bare of the comfort of a feather, naked like a bat. The angel moved away from me, tightened his grip on the sword and waited. The creature now before the angel, paused, then let out a roar of hate. Brought its sword above its head and down upon the angel. The angel raised his sword to block the blow. When the blades met a shock broke through heaven and hell. And the fight was on. With every blow of their blades, fire and lightning raged. Clash after clash, blow after blow. The occasional slice of form and figure sent blood flying. The battle, seemingly tireless and endless. With surprise and a quick turn of events, the angel’s sword pierced the beast’s chest. The angel held the blade for a moment to be sure it had taken the path he desired. He withdrew; blood fell from blade and beast. The torment of heaven and hell began to ease. The angel and I watched as the beast fell and eventually was swallowed by the earth below. The angel approached me held out the sword to return it. I took the sword and held it up. A drop of blood ran down its blade. The angel smiled and slowly began to ascend. We looked down to see the earth take on another form. New land rich with the beginnings of life and water wide and blue. The angel disappeared into the heavens. i've just finished angels and demons and i've read the da vinci code a couple of years back, and i've been really enthusiastic and excited to see the movie and everything, but eveyrtime i so much as mention these books my friend, who is a christian, frowns and asks me why i'm even reading those books. and i don't know why she believes that reading those books are so bad. i mean, i'm a fully devoted christian and i believe and follow christ and i have faith in him, but she says that if i truly had faith in jesus christ then i wouldn't even be reading those books in the first place, and then i told her that if you really believed in christ then you wouldn't become corrupted (resist the temptation, you know?) and on the facts page, dan brown didn't say that the theories were historically accurate, but she still doesn't believe that it's morally right to read his books. my question is: should i read them? i mean, is it wrong for a christian to read his books?

A long time ago I read a childrens book and I am trying to track it down several years later (25 ish SCARY). From what I can remember it was set around Christmas time and was about a girl who kept on sneaking downstairs from her room, presumably on Chrismtas Eve to eat a present which was a box of chocolate kittens, bunnies or something along those lines. Yet again from what I can remember she made herself sick and was ill on Christmas Day. If I were you I would find another league, that does not sound like a good one. I went to the range with my friend and his Dad. How can you trust yourself, when others insis that you are wrong?

My family gets in my head. I want to live my own life my way and raise my kids my own way. My brother belittles me and humilates me in front of my kids. I ask him to stop itm but it is my fault for having issues as he is behaving perfectly normal. I feel my mother uses guilt and manipualtion, to control me and how I raise my kids. She insists that she watns what is best for us and that she loves us even though I will have consequences for my decisions and will regret how I raise my kids. She is a lovely Christian lady and eveyone tells me how lucky I am to have her. She threatens me with 'someday your kids will hurt you like you hurt me' just because I wont' let her alone with my kids (I dont' trust her not to undermine me). I feel caught in confusion. Like a web where I feel abused but everyone insists that I am not. They love me so much. I want to trust my own perspective, but how can I do that when I am clearly wrong??? I have tried talking about it with them. They just end up hurt and I walk away feeling like I am critical of perfectly loving and normal people

Not every method is going to be right for every baby. Some babies are too stubborn for something like the Ferber method and you have to go with the flow or develop your own method. My oldest was like this. We finally set up a sleeping bag next to our bed and let her camp out with us until she fell asleep and then carried her to her own bed. If she woke up in the middle of the night, she would go climb in her sleeping bag next to us. She just didn't like being alone! By the time she was three she was falling asleep in her own bed, though we kept the sleeping bag out for the times when she woke up in the middle of the night.

hiya everyone... 8 weeks ago my daughters father took my daughter and refused me contact and he would'nt speak to me directly baring in mind i've brought her up single handedly for 20months with him walkin in and out of her life as and when the fancy took him, police and social services could'nt do anything as he is named on her birth certificate, i sought legal advice and went to court where the judge ordered him to give her back and gave me a temp resendence order n i allowed my ex to have her on sundays between 2pm till 4pm (my sol advised that time limit) my ex partner threw alsorts of allegacatons in to the whole thing and was fighting me for custordy, a week weeks on he dropped the case but wanted more access, which i was always willing to give so said for the first few weekends he could have my daughter from 12pm till 5pm then after a few weeks i'd start letting him have her over night, but during this time i decided to get csa involved as hes never paid a penny towards her, when he found this out he never wanted to see megan again and hes now demanding dna, we're back in court on thursday, will cafc be involved now he dusnt want anything to do wiv her ?? also if on the off chance he dus turn up 2 court which i doubt very much have i got the right to say i only want him to have supervised access as i dont trust him to take her away from me again ???? thankyou for reading my essay lol xx

We were together for 2 years, i stopped talking to him for several reason and i needed to move on and life my life on dec16 2007 was the last contact from me to him, he has emailed me a xmas card on the 24th, and a new years card on jan 1st, and all i did was say thank you, didnt try to strike up a conversation with him i was done with him and was moving now. Since dec 16th he has not called nor texed or emailed except for the xmas and new years card, then all of a sudden on friday Feb 1st i get an email from him stating, Hi how are you doing? Of course i replied back kept it short and said im fine how are you doing? Of course he came back again and said hes fine hes just been working, What mind boggles me is, after all that time why is he now trying to contact me? I think God, guns and abortion are surefire winners in terms of holding the base together. But I think it's the other side where I'd like to see some movement. We need to do something about poverty and about people without health care, come up with some innovative ideas to make sure everyone's got that security without breaking the bank. Most importantly, we should stand against free trade, which has destroyed our industries. If we can do that, we can win over the middle-of-the-road voters.

It really depends on how resilient a child can be. Neglect can be severe such as the case of the "wild child" If someone abandons a child without any resources for food or the basic necessities, then the child will go into instinct mode (primitive part of the brain) and that will make them be distrustful of people. A child's first contact of how the world is their parents/caregivers and that experience shape them for the future. Their brain needs to stimulated so they can be healthy adults.

The National Defense Highway System under Eisenhower is my favorite example. Taxes were collected, mostly gas taxes, but there were other taxes as well. Private firms were hired and cash money was distributed. The Army Corp of Engineers drew up specifics. Private contractors went to work moving dirt. Tens of thousands of people were hired. Every tax dollar 'spent' was re-spent at least seven times. People miles removed from actual road construction were employed to keep track of materials. Lawyers, bankers, stock brokers and accountants went to work. Factories built heavy equipment....sub contractors, 'small business', were hired by 'big business'. Concrete was produced and shipped via newly invigorated trucking companies. Rail cars were built and manned. New trucks were ordered. Workers bought work clothes and steel toed shoes. Steel produced and delivered. Electrical equipment was manufactured and installed. Trash was hauled. Rivers were bridged. Towns sprang up. Business opened. All of the tax money that began this chain of events became salaries, savings, profits, investment capital and finally taxes. Anyone who says this didn't happen exactly that way is kidding you. Government takes little bits of cash, consolidates it into a mive pile of cash and transforms that into a power house economic activity. 'Government' ordered a mive number of computers right out of the gate...that industry is still with us because of this economic kick in the pants. Consolidating cash and spending it. Pretty much that's all government does, but it's a major part of the economy. Government money...the bits and pieces of dollars and cents that we call taxes gets spent, but it doesn't vanish into thin air, though without this influx of capital except for local economies the overall economy would disappear. The Space Program.....still going, though now as much private industry and money as government input. Even Homeland Security as redundant as it is spends billions buying, from private contractors...and ALL of that money gets re-spent time after time. 'Government workers', currently shat on by the right wing commentators spend their paychecks on the local economy. Currently we need more government spending...a mive 'Stimulus'...such as building up a solar and wind economy and building up a 21st century high speed freight and penger service....not to mention replacing much of our 50 to 100 year old infrastructure. Government tax money...private contractors. I'm sure some of the responders will totally misunderstand this....that's the power of bad information. Still....

I've been reading three articles in newspapers which i think are disgusting--- they're calling him a peado even though he was found innocent by the court.
