R&S ATHEISTS: When you remind religionistas that they worship an imaginary friend, does it ever surprise?

you that they never come back with evidence of their 'friend', but almost always resort to some diversionary tactic, not excluding an ad hominem attack? Have they no arrows in their quiver? Have they no bullets in their guns? Are they so devoid of argument that all they can do is resort to a childish, "Taint so, and you stink," kind of defense?
