Ok so i still like my ex.... wat should i do?

he broke up with me about 2 months ago cause he felt like it wasn't going anywhere and said that instead of being happy when i texted him he got annoyed. he hasn't changed and is the same guy i liked at the beginning of the year and i think i might love him a little. i want to go back out with him and there's a Sadie Hawkins dance at school soon. we still hang and we chat and text sometimes and we're comfortable enough to touch (like rough housing friends touch) and there's a Sadie Hawkins at school coming up. and i think he might like me a little still. should i ask him or go with friends?
