"Mauser 98" versus "BRNO Vz.24" Help?

I am going to purchase either a Mauser 98, or a Czech Vz 24. Both are in good condition, and are chambered for 7.92x57mm. They are the same price. The Vz 24 was manufactured at the BRNO factory, and comes with a strong recommendation from the shop owner. The Mauser 98 has a longer barrel, which translates to more consistent accuracy (usually). Does anyone have experience with either or both of these rifles? Which, if either, is better?
