Just a random question..but,i honestly need some opinions!=)?

If a guy comments on yr facebook status a lot, and he seems to care about you..is there a possibility of him liking you,or perhaps mzybe he's attracted to u or something. He is my friend no doubt,ive only started becoming close to him recently though. We do meet in school but not everyday,he teases me a lot..he even has a pet name for me. There are times,when his friends are not with him and he's alone,he asks me to accompany him for to the cafeteria.But,when they are around he seldom/never asks me. He has said this once- that i never fail to make him laugh,and that he thinks we both share some chemistry.so,what do you guys think about him?
