Staring at nothing and not sleeping?

Since thursday night my dad hasnt slept, at night he just stares at nothing. And he's acting really weird..yesterday he was really dehydraed, wasnt sweating or going to the bathroom. I don't know what to do, and he doesn't have insurance... Anyone know whats wrong?
